It tends to be forgotten that the Blues was the dance music of it's day. It was there to entertain the people in the Juke Joints and Dime bars down in the rougher side of town. Yes, it can be deep and meaningful, an out-pouring of the heart, but it can also be up-lifting, funny and oh so risque! It's on the latter part of the statement that this Hexad of musicians has decided to set up it's gear, blending Rhythm and Blues with just a hint of soul, swing with a sousant of shuffle.
That's when the Blues is mischievous and fun -that's when the rhythm's don't allow you to keep still - that's when you feel your having just as good a time as the band - that's when your at a Rythm Oil gig.
